your lifelong vision may not relate to your career's magnum opus

we're often wired with the idea that the only way to fulfill your life vision through your passions. it's a nice story to tell, and there are definitely people that have been able to accomplish this. however for most, their passion doesn't align what is financially lucrative or exists as a typical career path. so most align their life vision around their career, where the wins and losses of your career define the wins and losses of your life. life is an unfair game. you typically don't have the ideal variables to have the luxury of pursuing your passions when young (if you do, you should be super grateful). what you want is not what you get from life often, and your persistence is required for your manifestation of life to come to reality.
